TD Gallery

As a designer at the Toronto Public Library, I collaborated with the Gallery and Exhibits Curator and Communications Officer to produce marketing materials for multiple exhibits at the TD Gallery.

While working on the I Am Canada: Celebrating Canadian Picture Book Art exhibit, I researched and chose the primary font, Cabrito. This welcoming, fun font was designed specifically with typographic legibility for children in mind. The brochure reflects the whimsical nature of the exhibit and highlights prominent illustrators.

For the Toronto Revealed: Illuminating Views of our City Streets exhibit, I displayed the letters TO (short for Toronto) in bold, with a key image from the show. I worked with the Gallery and Exhibits Curator to choose images, and ensure we had permissions to crop when necessary. Additionally, I created digital assets, including online ads for the Toronto Star.
